Ban/Suspended

If you have been banned or suspended, and you feel you are innocent, please post here in this order:

Please do not make another topic, post here only. Please also do not make replies like, "When will my account get unbanned" or "What are you doing about it".

We may or may not post if we have unbanned or not, but you can be sure we checked into it. If your account is not unbanned and there is no reply here, then rest assured, you have been weighed, measured, and found wanting.

Forum Rules

The following apply to the forums of Devil's Reign :

# Do not post spam, or meaningless topics/posts
# Be civil in your posts, do not use profanities
# Do not post your recruit link anywhere on the forums

# Please do not accuse other people of cheating on the forums. Accusations will be very seriously dealt with.
# Do not post any pornographic material on the forums, there are kids reading.
# If you asked a question on the forums, please check back the next day to see if you got a reply, and thank the people who replied.

IRC Rules

The following are the Devil's Reign IRC rules. If they are not followed, you will be banned/kicked from the Devil's Reign room and not allowed back in.

# You are not to attempt to recruit people (ask them to be your officer)
# You cannot ask for commander inside the channel.
# You are not allowed to exchange recruit links in the channel
# Using profanities will get you banned/kicked in the channel, not in the game.

# Do not keep PMing (Personal Messaging) the admins if they are online. Admins are the ones with ~ beside their name.

Please be polite and patient if you need any help.

Ingame rules

The following are the rules which are to be followed if you have an account in Devil's Reign. If you do not adhere to these, your account will be banned and deleted by the admins.

These rules can be changed at any time.
Please keep in mind that all accounts are closely monitored, and we do catch the cheaters.

Legal:
# Clicking on your own link
# Clicking on your officers' links
# Posting your link on message boards where it is allowed and is on-topic.
# Emailing your link to your friends or sending it to them on instant messenger.
# Having people click your link more than once (but not within 24 hours) .
# Having an Alliance of Devil's Reign players.
# Having your link in your AIM/MSN/ICQ etc. profile.
# Posting your link on a personal website.


Illegal:
# Posting your link in the Devil's Reign chat room or the Devil's Reign FORUMS
# Attempting to Hack/Packet the server or Abusing security holes (if any).
# Only one account per person. Having more than one account because you have more than one computer or because a friend registered an account and gave it to you is cheating.
# Sharing passwords with other people and logging into accounts that are not yours
# Posting your link in chat rooms, newsgroups, message boards, or forums unless it is explicitly allowed by the owner/opagetor of the chat room, newsgroup, message board, forum, etc..
# E-mailing your link to people whom you do not know, or to e-mail lists or "reflectors".
# Posting your link on a forum where it is against that forum's policies or off-topic
# Repeatedly refreshing pages to slow the server.
# Registering an email address that is not yours.
# Registering multiple accounts.
# Using link trading sites.
# Using any automated software which gets information directly from the server and/or which is used without human supervision.
# Advertising your link on adult sites.
# Sending your link to people you do not know.
# Sending the link to an e-mail reflector or USENET group.
# Putting your link in popup windowss, inside any frame, or using redirects.
# Using a script/program or any automated process to automatically gain recruits.
# Using proxy servers to generate fake hits.
# Having an automated process to repeatedly request pages on the server.
# Using scripts that fetch information off the Devil's Reign website.
# Signing up with false email addresses.

Enforcement:
# If you are caught doing any of the above, your account will either be suspended or terminated.
# If you get caught trying to Hack/Packet or Abuse the server, you will be banned and your ISP will be contacted. Be warned!
